Parent/Child Little Ninja Class

The Little Ninjas program has a detailed curriculum that focuses on improving pre-school and school-age children's basic motor and listening skills. These skills will help your child enter school with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook.  They will become better students at school and better listeners at home. We believe the time between the ages of 3-5 is the most critical years of a child's character development. Our program will enhance positive development in a fun and motivation way. 

Total Body Fitness

Our classes are designed to give you a complete workout that will keep your heart rate elevated to a fat burning state throughout the entire session.  Although each class last only 30 minutes, the intervals of "all out" intensity are the key in making your body respond, and therefore ultimately create your results. In your 30 minutes of interval training, you will be working at maximal load at each station/interval. You will be performing many different exercises that are fun, challenging and definitely "NOT BORING". 

White Belt Class 

The White Belt program is designed strictly for new students and current white belts. The program is an "education-based" curriculum; where character building, leadership skills, goal setting and constant and never-ending improvement all play vital roles. This means that in addition to learning martial arts techniques, children are also taught the importance of respect, self-confidence, self-esteem and anger management. We strive to provide each student with a positive image on how to behave in the dojo (training hall), home, and school. The program is designed to prepare each student for their yellow belt exam.

 

Yellow/Orange Belt Class

The kid's program at Creighton Martial Arts is tailored specifically for the next generation with the classes focusing on blending stand up and ground techniques together. Your kids will learn punches from the art of boxing, kicks from Muay Thai, takedowns from wrestling & judo and ground position/submission from Japanese Jujitsu. We believe that for a self-defense system to be a complete system it must include each one of these ranges. This allows your kids to learn functional and realistic techniques in a fun, safe and controlled setting. A strong foundation is laid out for our kids to progress in their skills so that they will be ready for the next level of instruction when they reach the appropriate age.

Our kid's program also incorporates life skills that help kids grow with a greater understanding of the principles that create success. Our life skills cover a range of various topics, all meant to contribute towards a higher quality of life through goal setting/achievement, respect, and personal life choices.

Green/Purple/Brown Belt Class

Adult Class 

The Adult Program is for anyone who wants to learn how to defend themselves and gain confidence in a positive an enthusiastic training environment. We focus our training on developing each individual their own personal best, by enriching their lives with all of the unique benefits that the martial arts has to offer. We teach this self-defense oriented martial arts class emphasizing the interaction of the striking and jujitsu arts. 

Women's Self-Defense Program (Level 1)

Our Women’s Self-Defense program is designed to introduce the concepts of protecting oneself from being the victim of violence. This is not a lecture – it is an active participation course where you will learn and practice techniques so that you gain strong foundational skills and strategies and can become proficient with them.

This course is excellent for those preparing to go away from home for the first time such as high school seniors preparing for their freshman year at college, those planning on traveling abroad, or for anyone unfamiliar with the fundamentals of self-defense.

 

You will be taught practical women’s self-defense techniques and strategies including the following:

         -  striking and kicking techniques.

         -  basic weapon disarms.

         -  how to use weapons of opportunity including everyday items that you are likely

            to carry with you.

         -  how to respond in stressful situations and to have greater situational awareness.

 

Women’s Self-Defense courses are offered on an open enrollment basis with new courses starting at various times throughout the year.
